The Arc.ua website previously operated in a somewhat different form. In 2023, the resource underwent a redesign, and we implemented the new version of the online magazine. The project gathered a large and inspired team, with all members working in their respective niches. Our task was to build the site from scratch, but based on the ready design.
The Arc website development according to the client’s design
The Arc Magazine is a new media that publishes well-told, unusual stories about Ukrainians, Ukraine, and the world every month. The stories cover all genres but are exclusively long reads. The project was founded by Uliana and Marko Suprun. The magazine was created within the framework of the public organization and publishing house ARC.UA, which aims to “spread common sense in Ukraine and beyond.”
Completed Work
We implemented the frontend and backend of the site, populated it with content, provided consultations on improving site features, and participated in joint discussions and brainstorming sessions.

- Created custom roles on the site (authors, illustrators)
- Created a custom registration/login section
- Implemented the ability to financially support the project through payment systems Wayforpay and Fondy
- Created a settings page for all site contacts (phone numbers, email addresses, social media)
- Customized reCAPTCHA (a service that protects your site from spam and abuse, and functionality on the site to detect bots).
RESULTS
The work on the Arc.ua website is completed, and the site is now live and functioning. The team remains in touch and continuously works on maintaining the site’s relevance and functionality.
